• Contractual Framework
1. Scope of Agreement
2. Quotations & Confirmations
These terms apply universally to all acquisitions of handcrafted solid teak furniture, stone carvings, and architectural decor from Laksmi Furniture, encompassing both catalog models and bespoke residential or hospitality projects.
Official price quotations remain valid for thirty calendar days from delivery, after which raw timber prices, currency exchange rates, and international ocean freight surcharges may necessitate formal price adjustment.
Binding order acceptance occurs only when Laksmi Furniture issues an official Proforma Invoice detailing complete product specifications, dimensions, finish codes, Incoterms, and countersigned acceptance.
By approving a Proforma Invoice, submitting custom architectural drawings, or remitting production deposits, the client enters into a binding export sales contract governed under Indonesian commercial law.

Pricing, Payments & Modifications
3. Currency & Staged Payments
4. Cancellations & Alterations
All quotations and commercial invoices are stated in United States Dollars (USD) or Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Payment must be executed via direct SWIFT telegraphic bank transfer or authorized merchant gateway.
Because bespoke furniture and architectural stone are carved to precise client commissions, orders already entered into the production schedule cannot be unilaterally cancelled or structurally altered without written mutual consent.
50% Production Deposit: Required immediately upon Proforma Invoice confirmation to initiate seasoned teak selection, stone block reservation, and workshop drafting.
Post-deposit modifications require technical approval and will incur charges reflecting timber wastage, artisan labor reallocations, and recalculated delivery timetables.
50% Balance Settlement: Due in full upon photographic completion proof and prior to container loading, fumigation treatment, and dispatch from our Bali workshop.
Unilateral buyer cancellations following timber milling or stone cutting result in full forfeiture of the initial deposit as liquidated manufacturing compensation.

6. Export Verification
7. Transfer of Risk
All Indonesian timber shipments are audited under the national SVLK timber legality assurance system and dispatched with official V-Legal documentation.
Risk of physical loss or damage shifts strictly pursuant to the stated Incoterms definition once cargo is transferred to the designated freight forwarder.
International orders ship primarily under FOB Bali (Port of Benoa / Port of Surabaya) or DAP destination terms as agreed in the Proforma Invoice.
Consignments receive full phytosanitary clearance and container fumigation certifications meeting international customs and environmental quarantine protocols.
Buyers are advised to maintain comprehensive marine cargo insurance covering total replacement value during maritime transport and multi-modal handling.
Standard fabrication lead times range from 6 to 10 weeks depending on order volume, kiln-drying cycles, and hand-carving complexity.
